Bank Robbery in McLean

Employees of the Cardinal Bank, 1313 Dolly Madison Boulevard in McLean, were robbed on Friday, August 15 shortly after 10:30 a.m.

A man displayed a handgun, demanded money from one or more of the tellers and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries.

The suspect was described as black, in his mid 30s, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall. He was wearing a dark blue jogging suit with white stripes, white sneakers, a white hat and a mask covering his face.
